Social Media Assistant

About the Position

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant who will maintain and uphold our clients’ online reputations. This individual must be computer-savvy, have strong copy writing skills and have knowledge of social media websites and trends.

The primary objective will be to manage and syndicate content on social media profiles, which will involve:

  • Posting comments on other user's social media profiles
  • Adding links to popular articles on link-based social media websites (i.e. Digg)
  • Posting pictures and/or videos to display-based social media (i.e. Flickr, Youtube)
  • Blogging on client-approved activities
  • Creating report summaries of all social media posts/activities
  • Tracking client's search engine landscape across Google, Yahoo & MSN
  • Making recommendations for new social media endeavors and/or activities
